Deleted channel restore
How QREATE restores deleted channels and where the restore prompt appears.
When a channel is deleted, QREATE snapshots its structure for a short restore window. Restore recreates the channel with a new Discord channel id; old messages cannot be recovered.
Where the prompt posts
The restore prompt posts to Discord's System Messages Channel. QREATE does not have a dashboard selector for this prompt location.
Move the prompt
- 1Open Discord Server Settings.
- 2Go to Overview.
- 3Change System Messages Channel to the channel where restore prompts should appear.
- 4Make sure QREATE can send messages there.
Heads up. After restore, re-select the new channel in modules that pointed at the old id.
