DM Log
Relay DMs sent to the bot into a staff channel with optional acknowledgement.
Relay DMs sent to the bot into a staff channel with optional acknowledgement.
Set it up
- 1Open DM Log and enable it.
- 2Choose the staff log channel.
- 3Write an optional acknowledgement message.
Routing behavior
When someone DMs QREATE, the bot checks shared guilds where DM Log is enabled and relays the message to the configured staff channel. Attachments are included as links when Discord exposes them.
Privacy note
Tell members if bot DMs are monitored by staff. Use a clear acknowledgement message so users know their message was received.
Example DM Log configuration
text
Log channel: #bot-dms
Acknowledgement message: Thanks for reaching out! A staff member has been notified and will reply if needed. What to know
- DM Log is server-scoped: QREATE relays DMs for shared guilds where it is enabled.
- Members are told before their first message is forwarded. QREATE sends them one notice naming the servers that will receive it, with a button to stop it. This notice cannot be switched off.
- A member who opts out stops being relayed to every server at once, so their messages will not appear in your log. They can turn it back on from the same conversation.
- This is different from platform support tickets on qreate.cloud/support.
