Reaction Roles

Publish role panels where members click a button or select menu to get roles.

Set it up

1. 1Open Reaction Roles and flip it on.
2. 2Create a panel with a title, description, and target channel.
3. 3Add role options, save the panel, then publish it.

Panel types

• Button panel - best for 1-5 visible roles, such as pronouns, region, or announcement pings.
• Select menu panel - best for longer lists, such as game roles, platforms, or language roles.
• Multi-panel setup - split unrelated choices into separate messages instead of one giant panel.

Before publishing

• Check that every target role is below QREATE's highest role in Discord.
• Use stable role names; renaming roles later is fine, deleting them breaks that option.
• If a published panel was deleted manually, save and publish again to create a fresh message.

Example panels

Announcement pings:
🔔 Updates -> @Updates
🎉 Events -> @Events
🛠️ Patch notes -> @Patch Notes

Game roles:
Valorant, Minecraft, Fortnite, League, Pokemon Unite
Use a select menu when the list is longer than five.

What to know

• QREATE updates existing panel messages when possible instead of leaving stale copies.
• The bot role must be above every role it grants.
