Introductions

Let members introduce themselves through a panel and structured modal.

Set it up

1. 1Open Introductions and enable it.
2. 2Configure the intro channel, fields, and panel copy.
3. 3Publish the panel so members can submit introductions.

Field design

• Ask for 3-5 fields max: name, interests, timezone, favorite game/topic, and one fun prompt.
• Avoid private data. Introductions are meant for community context, not identity verification.
• Use staff/private visibility when introductions need approval before public posting.

Panel copy

Tell members exactly what happens after submission: where the intro posts, whether staff review it, and whether they can edit it later.

What to know

• Keep intro fields short; long forms reduce completion.
• Submitted introductions can be reviewed from the dashboard.
